New Delhi: RINL-VSP has been awarded Rajbhasha Keerti Puraskar (First Prize in south India) for outstanding performance in the area of Hindi implementation for the year 2018-19. The award was received by RINL's CMD PK Rath from Union Home Minister Amit Shah in presence of Ministers of state for home Affairs Nityanand Rai and G Kishan Reddy during 'National Hindi Day-2019 celebrations held at Vigyan Bhavan New Delhi on Friday.
RINL's Director (Personnel) KC Das, RINL was also present during the award function. Amit Shah congratulated to Rath and RINL for bagging the Rajbhasha Keerti Puraskar on the occasion. Rath commended the RINL collectively for progressive usage of the official language across the organization and bringing laurels to the company. He also said the efforts shall be continued to win more awards at RINL.
RINL is the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (RSP), a Navaratna PSE under the Ministry of Steel. It also called Vizag steel. It is the first shore-based integrated steel plant in the country and is known for its quality products delighting the customers. It is a market leader in long products and it caters to the needs of diverse industrial sectors.
