Commodore Amit Rastogi (IN) set to be next CMD of NRDC

Indian Navy’s Commodore Amit Rastogi (IN) has been recommended for the post of Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of NRDC

New Delhi: Commodore Amit Rastogi is set to be the next Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of National Research Development Corporation (NRDC), a PSU under the Ministry of Science & Technology. Rastogi has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Friday. He is Commodore in the Indian Navy.

Rastogi has been recommended for the post of CMD of NRDC from the list of two candidates, who were interviewed by the selection panel. Another candidate who was on the list was also from the Indian Navy.

As CMD of NRDC, Rastogi will be the chief executive of the corporation and will be accountable to its board of directors and the government. He also will be responsible for the efficient functioning of the corporation for achieving its corporate objectives and performance parameters.
