CVC Suresh N Patel lauds GAIL’s vigilance awareness initiatives

New Delhi: The Central Vigilance Commissioner Suresh N Patel on Thursday complimented GAIL (India) Limited for its leveraging technology and robust systems during his visit to the GAIL corporate office on the occasion of the ongoing 'Vigilance Awareness Week 2021.'

Patel lauded GAIL leadership for its vision and digitalisation of various business processes like centralization of payments and taxes and RPA, which have enhanced transparency, efficiency and ease of doing business for the stakeholders. He emphasized the need for end-to-end security of e-systems. He also urged the employees to develop skillsets and keep themselves updated with various procedures for their capacity building and upholding core values of Integrity.

During his visit, Patel also launched 'Jagrook', a special publication of GAIL's vigilance department. GAIL's Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Manoj Jain, Director (Finance) AK Tiwari, Director (Marketing) ES Ranganathan, Director (Business Development) MV Iyer, Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) Shubha Naresh Bhambhani and Central Vigilance Commission's Director Ratan Agrawal were also present on the occasion.
