New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of regular Chief Vigilance Officers (CVOs) in Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL), Chennai Port Trust (CPT) and Indian Rare Earths Limited (IREL).
Pranab Kumar Patel (IRSS) has been appointed as CVO of Mahanadi coalfields Limited (MCL), Sambalpur under the Ministry of Coal. According to an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Patel has been appointed to the post for an initial period of three years from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further order, whichever is earlier. He is an Indian Railway Stores Service (IRSS) officer of the 1998-batch.
Further, S Murali Krishnan (IDAS) has been appointed as CVO of Chennai Port Trust (CPT), Chennai under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways. He has been appointed to the post for an initial period of three years from the date of assumption of charge of the post until further orders, whichever is earlier. He is an Indian Defence Accounts Service (IDAS) service officer of the 2005-batch.
The ACC has also approved the appointment of RL Ramesh Ram (IRS) as CVO of Indian Rare Earths Limited (IREL), Mumbai under the Department of Atomic Energy. He has been appointed to the post for an initial period of three years from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. He is an Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer of the 2006-batch.
