CVO Appointments: Govt clears the appointment of CVOs in these 5 PSUs

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Chief Vigilance Officers (CVOs) in these five PSUs

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the appointment of Chief Vigilance Officers (CVOs) in these five Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) namely SPMICL, ONGC, BPCL, SCI and JNPT. Here is the full list of newly appointed CVOs:

1. Vinay Kumar Singh (IRS)

Vinay Kumar Singh (IRS) has been appointed as CVO of Security Printing & Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL), a PSU under the Department of Economic Affairs. According to Personnel Ministry, Singh has been assigned with the charge of CVO of SMPCIL, initially for a period up to December 16, 2023, i.e. a combined period of three years, with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Vinay Kumar Singh (IRS) is an Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer of 1997-batch. He is currently serving as CVO of the Projects Equipment Corporation (PEC) Limited, a PSU under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry.

2. Ranjan Prakash Thakur (IRTS)

Ranjan Prakash Thakur (IRTS) has been appointed as CVO of Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), a PSU under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoNPG). He has been appointed to the post for an initial period of three years, with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Ranjan Prakash Thakur is a senior Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) of 1990-batch. He is currently serving as the Principal Secretary to the Industries and Commerce Department of Jammu and Kashmir.

3. Meenaxi Rawat (IES)

Meenaxi Rawat (IES) has been appointed as CVO of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), a PSU under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas. She has been appointed to the post for a period of an initial period of three years, with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Meenaxi Rawat is an Indian Economic Service (IES) officer of 1993-batch. She is currently serving as Economic Adviser in the Office of the Economic Adviser under the Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade.

4. Tanuja Mittal (IA&AS)

Tanuja Mittal (IA&AS) has been appointed as CVO of Shipping Corporation of India (SCI), a PSU under the Ministry of Port, Shipping & Waterways. She has been appointed to the post for an initial period of three years, from the date of assumption of charge of the post until further orders, whichever is earlier. She is an Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS) officer of 1996-batch.

5. Vidyadhar Avinash Malegaonkar (IRTS)

Vidyadhar Avinash Malegaonkar (IRTS) has been appointed as CVO of Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT), Mumbai under the Ministry of Port, Shipping and Waterways. According to the order, he has been appointed to the post for an initial period of three years, with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. He is an Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) officer of 1992-batch.
