Dharmendra Pradhan inaugurates NBCC built boys hostel & lecture hall at IIT-Bhubaneswar

New Delhi: Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan inaugurated the boys' hostel and lecture hall built by NBCC for IIT-Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The landmark project comprises of boys hostel-3 (Ground + 7 floors) with a capacity of 860 Rooms and a modern Lecture Hall Complex-3 (Ground + 2 floors) with a capacity of 2,040 seats. The academic design of the Lecture Hall Complex has been constructed with green features for energy conservation along with the latest facilities of smart classrooms in the Institute.

IIT Bhubaneswar's Director Professor RV Rajakumar, Chairman of SDI Ranjan K Mohapatra, NBCC's General Manager/ SBG-Head (Odisha) AK Shome and senior officials from both the organisations were present at the ceremony. The company being a major implementing agency of the government has successfully implemented various iconic projects including academic buildings of Central/State Universities, IITs and IIMs across the nation.
