Dilip Kumar Mohanty set to be next Director (Production) of NMDC

Dilip Kumar Mohanty, who is currently serving as Chief General Manager, has been recommended for the post of Director (Production) of NMDC Limited

New Delhi: Dilip Kumar Mohanty is set to be the next Director (Production) of NMDC Limited. He has been recommended by a panel of the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB), the head hunter body for the PSUs. Currently, Mohanty is serving as Chief General Manager at NMDC's NISP, Jagdalpur Plant.

Mohanty has been recommended for the post of Director (Production) of NMDC Limited from nine candidates interviewed by the selection panel. Out of nine, six candidates were from NMDC and one each from NLC India Limited, Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) and Prism Johnson Limited.

As Director (Production) of NMDC, Mohanty will be a member of the Board of directors and will report to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He also will be overall in charge of various operating mining and other units of the corporation. He will be responsible for achieving the targeted production of each unit.
