Dr Sirra Karuna Raju (IAS) assumes charge as CVO of RINL-VSP

Dr Sirra Karuna Raju (IAS) has assumed charge as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) at Visakhapatnam on Monday

New Delhi: Dr Sirra Karuna Raju (IAS) has assumed charge as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Steel, at Visakhapatnam on Monday. According to an earlier order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training, Dr Raju has been appointed as CVO of RINL for an initial period of three years with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post until further orders, whichever is earlier.

After the assumption of the charge of the post, Dr Raju met RINL's Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) Atul Bhatt CMD in his office and exchanged pleasantries and also had a brief discussion with senior officials of the company.

Dr Raju, a veterinarian by qualification, belongs to the Punjab cadre IAS officer of 1998 batch. Earlier he worked as Punjab Chief Electoral Officer for the last five years.
