New Delhi: Engineers India Limited (EIL) has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Munitions India Limited (MIL) for execution of plant modernization and infrastructure projects of MIL. The MoU was exchanged between MIL's CMD Ravi Kant and EIL's CMD Vartika Shukla during “Aero India 2023’ at Bengaluru on February 13.

Munitions India Limited (MIL) is a Defence Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under the Ministry of Defence. MIL, India’s biggest manufacturer and market leader, is engaged in production, testing research & development and marketing of comprehensive range of ammunition and explosives for Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force and Para-Military Forces.

The MoU heralds EIL’s foray into the defence sector, giving a fillip to the diversification into newer areas.
