G Krishnakumar set to be next CMD of Bharat Petroleum Corp Ltd

The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has recommended the name of G Krishnakumar for the post of CMD of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL)

New Delhi: (BPCL CMD News) G Krishnakumar is set to be the next Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), a Maharatna PSU under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoPNG). He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB), the head hunter body for PSUs, on Monday. Presently, he is serving as Executive Director (Other Units) in the same organisation.

G Krishnakumar has been recommended for the post from a list of six candidates who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on December 12. All the candidates who were on the list were from BPCL.

As CMD of BPCL, Krishnakumar will be the Chief Executive of the corporation and will be accountable to the board of directors and the government or shareholders. He will be responsible for the efficient functioning of the corporation for achieving its corporate objectives and performance parameters.
