New Delhi: Vrushali Shet from the Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL), a Defence PSU under the Ministry of Defence, has been conferred with the 'HR Future Leader Award' at HR Excellence Awards 2020. She got this coveted recognition for her diligent efforts in the HR domain. 'The People First HR Excellence Awards 2020' in partnership with the Human Resources Association of India' is a platform that recognises talent and achievers in the field of HR world-wide. In the award function, a bunch of high performers were awarded in this coveted award in various categories of awards viz- Talent acquisition, L&D initiatives, employee engagement, HR Future Leader and CSR etc.
Vrushali, currently working as Human Resources Operations Manager, hails from Goa and has been working in the field of HR and has over 12 years of experience in various verticals of HR like talent management, L&D, establishment, labour laws, attendance & payroll, policies etc. She is the first woman officer in the HR department and has groomed herself up the ladder from a management trainee to senior manager. Apart from having vast experience across the various functions of the organisation, she has worked for the Skill India Mission with the MSDE in a strategic alliance with the NSDC etc.
She has undertaken innovative L&D strategies which have had a direct impact on productivity and manpower. Some other notable works include the adoption of ITI and making them a modal ITI and designing new courseware for engineering degree college s to suit business requirements. She is also actively involved in women welfare activities at her organisation.
