Govt nominates new non-official Directors in these Public Sector Banks

The Ministry of Finance has nominated a number of officers for the appointment as Non-Official Director on the Board of Public Sectors Banks (PSBs)

New Delhi: The Ministry of Finance has nominated a number of officers for the appointment as Non-Official Director on the Board of Public Sectors Banks (PSBs) on Tuesday. Here is the list of newly appointed Non-Official Directors.

Pradip Pranlal Khimani has been appointed as part-time non-official director on the Board of Central Bank of India for a period of three years from the date of notification i.e. December 21, 2021, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Presently, he is serving as Chairman of Saraswati School, Junagadh (Gujarat). He is also the Director in Girnar Yatradham Vikas Mandal, Junagadh and the Member of the Ethical Committee, GMERS Medical College, Junagadh.

Ravi Kumar Agrawal has been appointed as part-time Non-Official Director on the Board of UCO Bank for a period of three years from the date of notification i.e. December 21, 2021, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Suraj Srivastava has been appointed as the Part-time Non-Official Director on the Board of Union Bank of India for a period of three years from the date of notification i.e. December 21, 2021, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. He is a Fellow Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and also a Bachelor of Laws (LLB).

Ajay Singhal has been appointed as Part-time Non-Official Director of Bank of Baroda. He has been appointed on the Board of Bank of Baroda for a period of three years from the date of notification i.e. December 21, 2021, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. He is a Chartered Accountant by profession. He is having experience of 20 years in the specialised area of audit, taxation, banking and finance. Singhal also served as Independent Director in Balmer Lawrie Investment Ltd. (Govt of India Enterprise under Ministry of Petroleum) from August 2018 to July 2021.

Sardar Baljit Singh has been appointed as Part-time Non-official Director on the Board of the Bank of Maharashtra for a period of three years from the date notification i.e. December 12, 2021, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

And Shashank Shrivastava as Part-time Non-official Director on the Board of Bank of Maharashtra for a period of three years with effect from December 21, 2021, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
