Govt okays appointment of Manoj Sharma as Director (Commercial) of PFC

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Manoj Sharma as Director (Commercial) of Power Finance Corporation (PFC)

New Delhi: The Government has approved the appointment of Manoj Sharma as Director (Commercial) of Power Finance Corporation Limited (PFC), a Maharatna PSU under the Ministry of Power. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Sharma has been appointed to the post with effect from the date of his assumption of charge of the post till the date of his superannuation i.e. March 31, 2026, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Presently, he is serving as Executive Director in the same organisation.

Sharma was recommended for the post of Director (Commercial) of PFC from the list of eight candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on March 22.

As Director (Commercial) of PFC, Sharma will be a member of the board of directors and will report to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He will also assist CMD in the achievement of the corporate vision and goals of the organisation.
