IREDA CMD urges DU students to lead charge against corruption

New Delhi: Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd. (IREDA) organised a speech competition on Friday, at Satyawati College (Evening), University of Delhi, as a part of 'Vigilance Awareness Week 2022.' On this occasion, IREDA CMD Pradip Kumar Das addressed students in presence of IREDA CVO Manisha Saxena, Principal of Satyawati College (Evening) Dr Vijay Shankar Mishra and other senior officials.

CMD mentioned Prime Minister's address at Vigyan Bhawan on November 3, 2022, "the campaign of Vigilance Awareness Week is taking place to realise the dreams and aspirations of a corruption-free India and underlined its importance in the lives of every citizen." He added that IREDA is dedicated to "Zero Tolerance Against Corruption" and has taken all possible steps to combat corruption and improve accountability to the stakeholders of the company.

Das emphasised that the battle against corruption should not be restricted to Vigilance Awareness Week and is not only a one-week affair. He stated that, as corruption obstructs a nation's progress, every citizen has a responsibility to combat it collectively. The students can serve as flag bearers in the fight against corruption, he continued.

He urged the students to follow their dreams and not overlook their areas of strength and interest. He inspired them to discover their self and work on what makes them happy. Shri Das also encouraged students to maintain good physical and mental health.
