IREDA joins ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign; distributes tricolor flags to all employees

To mark the momentous occasion of "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahostav", the National Anthem of India was sung by IREDA employees with great patriotic fervour and enthusiasm

New Delhi: Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd (IREDA) started the "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign under the aegis of "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav" (AKAM). IREDA CMD Pradip Kumar Das launched the "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign on Thursday, to encourage all employees to bring the Tiranga home and hoist it to mark the 75th year of India's independence. Tricolor flags have been distributed to all employees for hoisting Tiranga from their homes.

To mark the momentous occasion of "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahostav", the National Anthem of India was sung by IREDA employees with great patriotic fervour and enthusiasm. IREDA organised 'Unity in Creativity' competitions based on patriotic themes, viz., online quiz competition, pen a jingle contest and 'Wealth out of Waste' competition for all employees. IREDANs have participated in 'Unity in Creativity' competitions with full enthusiasm and zeal.

Speaking on this occasion, Das urged the IREDA family to participate wholeheartedly in hoisting the Tiranga at their homes to strengthen the "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign. "The Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has launched this national movement with the goal to inspire every Indian to hoist the National Flag at their homes, invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the citizens of the Nation and promote awareness about our National Flag," CMD, IREDA continued.

IREDA has been organising a series of events under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav to commemorate the 75th anniversary of India's Independence. On August 13th, 2021, IREDA officially launched the celebration of "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav," hosting an antakshari and quiz competition for its employees.
