Lokesh Kumar Aggarwal set to be Director (Finance) of ITDC

EESL's CGM Lokesh Kumar Aggarwal has been recommended for the post of Director (Finance) of India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) on Tuesday

New Delhi: Lokesh Kumar Aggarwal is set to be Director (Finance) of India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), a Miniratna PSU under the Ministry of Tourism. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Tuesday. He is currently serving as Chief General Manager (Finance) at Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL). Aggarwal has been recommended for the post of Director (Finance) of ITDC from a list of two candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel. Another candidate who was on the list was from Ratnagiri Gas and Power Private Limited (RGPPL). The post of Director (Finance) in ITDC is vacant since May 7, 2020.

Aggarwal is a qualified Cost Accountant of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI). He holds a PG Diploma in Internal Audit from the Delhi School of Economics. He also holds an LLB. He has over 30 years of post-qualification experience in finance and accounting. Previously, he has worked with BHEL Electrical Machines Limited for more than 27 years starting from February 1992 to September 2019.

As Director (Finance) of ITDC, Aggarwal will be a member of the board of directors and reports to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He will be overall in charge of finance and accounts of the organisation and will be responsible for evolving and formulating policies relating to finance and accounts as well as implementation thereof towards the fulfilment of goals and objectives of the company.
