Manish Kumar set to be next Director (Personnel) of NCL

Manish Kumar, who is currently serving as Chief Manager in CCL, has been recommended for the post of Director (Personnel) of NCL

New Delhi: Manish Kumar is set to be the next Director (Personnel) of Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), a PSU under the Ministry of Coal. Presently, he is serving as Chief Manager in Central Coalfields Limited (CCL). He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Monday.

Kumar has been recommended for the post of Director (Personnel) of NCL from a list of seven candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on Monday. Candidates who were on the list were from Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL), Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL), Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL), Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) and NTPC Limited.

As Director (Personnel) of NCL, Kumar will be a member of the Board of Directors and will report to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He will be overall in charge of coordinating and implementing personnel and industrial relations policies, management functions, administrative control etc. in the organisation.
