Manisha Saxena (IRS) is new CVO of IREDA

The Government has approved the appointment of Manisha Saxena (IRS) as new Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of IREDA

New Delhi: Manisha Saxena (IRS) has been appointed as the new Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) Limited. The government has approved the proposal for her appointment recently. According to an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), she has been appointed to the post of CVO of IREDA for an initial period of three years, with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Manisha is an Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer of 2000-batch. She is currently posted as Additional Commissioner in Goods & Service Tax Commissionerate, Vadodara under the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs. Currently, Indian Tourism Development Corporation Limited (ITDC)'s CVO Vinayak Garg (IRSEE) is holding additional charge as CVO of IREDA.

In a separate order issued on the same day, the government has also approved the appointment of Chandrani Gupta (IES) as CVO of Braithwaite, Burn & Jessop Construction Company Limited (BBJ), a PSU under the Department of Heavy Industry. According to the order, she has been appointed to the post for an initial period of three years with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Gupta is also an  Indian Engineering Service (IES) officer of 2007-batch. She is currently serving as Joint Directo in Labour Bureau, Kolkata.
