MCL collaborates with IIT (ISM), Dhanbad for research & new initiatives

New Delhi/Sambalpur: Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) – ISM, Dhanbad for collaboration in research and new initiatives.

The MoU has been signed by  MCL's Head of Department (Innovation Cell) Awadh Kishore Pandey on behalf of MCL and IIT-ISM's Deputy Director and Dean (R&D) Prof. Shalivahan on behalf of IIT-ISM.

MCL's Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD) PK Sinha graced the MoU signing ceremony, organised virtually along with MCL's Director (Technical/Operations) OP Singh, Director (Finance) KR Vasudevan, Director (Personnel) Keshav Rao, Director (Technical/Projects & Planning) Baban Singh and Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) PK Patel.

The MoU has been signed with objectives like promoting industry-institute interface and opening channels of interaction between the academic fraternity of IIT (ISM), Dhanbad and officials of MCL in areas of mutual benefit.
