Mukesh Choudhary set to be Director (Marketing) of Coal India

Mukesh Choudhary has been recommended for the post of Director (Marketing) of Coal India Limited (CIL) on Wednesday

New Delhi: Mukesh Choudhary is set to be the next Director (Marketing) of Coal India Limited, a Maharatna PSU under the Ministry of Coal. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel, a head-hunter body for PSUs, on June 15. He is currently serving as Director of Indian Ordnance Factories Service (IOFS).

Mukesh Choudhary has been recommended for the post of Director (Marketing) of Coal India from a list of seven candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB panel in its selection meeting held on June 15. Other candidates, who were on the list, were one each from Coal India Limited (CIL), Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL), and South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL), NLC India Limited and Hindalco Industries Limited.

As Director (Marketing) of Coal India, Choudhary will be a member of the Board of Director and will report to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He will be the head of sales and marketing disciplines of Coal India and its subsidiaries companies.
