NCL to observe Swacchta hi Sewa campaign

NCL will observe 'Swachhta Hi Sewa' campaign from September 11 to October 2 on the theme 'plastic waste management and effective ban of single-use plastic' at its corporate office, Singrauli

Singrauli: Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) a Miniratna PSU under the Ministry of Coal, will observe 'Swachhta Hi Sewa – 2019' (SHS) campaign from September 11 to October 2 at its corporate office, Singrauli. The theme for Swachhta hi Sewa campaign of this year is plastic waste management and effective ban of single-use plastic (SUP), the company informed through a press release.

The company will ensure the collection of plastic waste and will work to create plastic-free zones. Various thematic activities like 'Shramdaan', distribution of jute or cloth bags, staging of the skit to eradicate single-use plastic, conducting painting exhibition and other activities will be organised under the campaign.
