NFL’s joint venture RFCL achieves 100% plant load for Ammonia, Urea

RFCL, a joint venture of NFL, EIL and FCIL, has attained a major milestone of achieving 100 percent plant load of Ammonia and Urea

New Delhi: Ramagundam Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited (RFCL), a joint venture of National Fertilizers Limited (NFL), Engineers India Limited (EIL) and Fertilizer Corporation of India Limited (FCIL), has achieved the major milestone of achieving 100 percent plant load of Ammonia and Urea.

"With this, the plant is poised to produce 12.70 Lakh MT urea annually in the Financial Year 2022-23 (FY2022-23)," NFL said in a social media post on Tuesday.

NFL holds 26 percent equity in the joint venture and provided key personnel during the construction and commissioning of the project. A dedicated team of RFCL, lead by professionals from NFL, is doing a great job at operations and maintenance. The company also has marketing rights for RFCL Urea and other products.

Highly elated at the landmark achievement, NFL's Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) Nirlep Singh Rai, who is also the Chairman of RFCL, congratulated RFCL's CEO AK Jain and the entire team of RFCL for achieving 100 percent plant load of Urea and Ammonia. Rai termed this milestone a great step towards Atmanirbhar Bharat.
