NHPC celebrates World Environment Day across its offices and power stations

On the occasion of World Environment Day, various activities like plantation, cleanliness drives, painting competitions etc were organised at various NHPC power stations and projects

New Delhi: State-run NHPC Limited, India's premier hydropower company, celebrated World Environment Day 2019 across all its offices and power stations. On this occasion a plantation programme was organised at its Corporate Office where Balraj Joshi, Chairman and Managing Director, NHPC, Ratish Kumar, Director (Projects), NK Jain, Director (Personnel) and MK Mittal, Director (Finance) planted saplings. Various activities like plantation, cleanliness drives, painting competitions etc were organised at various NHPC power stations/ projects to mark the occasion.
