NHPC CMD addresses General Assembly of International Commission on Large Dams

In his address, Joshi gave an insight into the hydropower sector in India and also highlighted NHPC’s activities towards the development of hydropower

New Delhi: Balraj Joshi, CMD of NHPC, a state-owned hydropower company, delivered an address at the General Assembly of International Commission on Large Dams (ICOLD) on June 14 at Ottawa, Canada. In his address, Joshi gave an insight into the hydropower sector in India and also highlighted NHPC's activities towards the development of hydropower. This event was themed around 'Sustainable and Safe Dams around the World' and was organised by the International Commission on Large Dams (ICOLD).
