NHPC organises Hindi Kavi Sammelan

New Delhi: NHPC Limited organised a grand Hindi Kavi Sammelan on February 24 at its Corporate Office, Faridabad for the purpose of promotion of Rajbhasha throughout the company. The Kavi Sammelan has been inaugurated by NHPC Limited's CMD AK Singh by lighting of traditional lamp. NHPC's Director (Personnel) NK Jain, Director (Technical) YK Chaubey, Director (Finance) RP Goyal, Director (Projects) Biswajit Basu, CVO AK Srivastava and other senior officers and employees were also present on the occasion. NHPC's President Sudha Singh ladies welfare association Sharmila Jain, Pushpa Chaubey and other members of Ladies welfare association were also present during the Kavi Sammelan.

On this occasion, Singh addressed all the NHPC employees. He highlighted the challenges and goals before NHPC and asked everyone to work with full dedication and diligence in the interest of the company. He also showcased the various achievements and significant developments of the company over the period of last one year.

The Kavi Sammelan started with Saraswati Vandana by poetess Ankita Singh. Thereafter, renowned poets of humour and satire Tej Narayan Sharma and Ramesh Muskan enthralled the audience with their humorous and satirical poems. Ankita Singh, lyricist and poetess of human emotions and 'Shringhar Ras', famous poet Dinesh Raghuvanshi and world-renowned poet Dr Kumar Vishwas dazzled the audience with magnificent poetic performances dealing with a wide variety of issues and poetic 'rasas'. The Kavi Sammelan was organised following safety guidelines and precautions in view of the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. A live webcast of this program was arranged for all the employees of NHPC posted at the Corporate Office along with various NHPC Regional Offices, Power Stations, Projects and Units situated in various locations throughout the country.
