NRL wins BEE CHT Award for best energy efficiency practices

NRL has been recognised with the certificate of achievement and awarded for ‘Best Energy Efficiency Practices by Refinery’ for the Perform Achieve Trade

New Delhi: Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) has been recognised with the certificate of achievement and awarded for 'Best Energy Efficiency Practices by Refinery' for the PAT (Perform Achieve Trade) Cycle-II (2016-19) at the Energy Efficiency Award function held in Noida on June 15.

Instituted collectively by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) under the Ministry of Power and the Centre for High Technology (CHT) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, the award recognises Indian refineries for their achievements in the field of energy efficiency.

The award has been presented by Petroleum Ministry's Joint Secretary Sunil Kumar, BEE's Director General Abhay Bhakre in presence of CHT's Executive Director Alok Sarma and BEE's Director Milind Deore to the NRL team comprising Senior Chief General Manager Nikunja Borthakur and Geetali Kalita, CM (TS)-Energy.
