NRL wins PRSI National Awards 2020 in three categories

Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) has won three 'PRSI National Awards' at the virtual awards ceremony of PRSI National Awards 2020

New Delhi: Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) has been awarded in the three categories of PRSI National Awards 2020 viz. Social Media for PR and branding; Best use of Social media for COVID-19 and Hindi Journal PRAYAS.

The awards have been given away at the virtual awards ceremony of PRSI National Awards held on February 21 on the Zoom platform. The Governor of Uttarakhand Baby Rani Maurya was the Chief Guest at the function which was presided over by Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank in the presence of President, International Public Relations Association Philippe Borremans and President, PRSI Dr Ajit Pathak. NRL's MD SK Barua, Sr. CGM (CA) Nikunja Borthakur and Deputy General Manager (CC) Madhuchanda Adhikari received the award virtually.

The virtual award ceremony was live streamed through FB pages of PRSI chapters across the country and drew overwhelming participation.

PRSI (Public Relations Society of India) is the apex body of PR and CC professionals in the country. The annual PRSI National Awards are the highest recognition for excellence in public relations and corporate communications. The award assumes significance since top national companies from the public and private sectors were contenders for the coveted award.
