NSIC signs MoU with Sikkim government

The MoU was signed between NSIC and Government of Sikkim for the promotion and development MSME sector in the state through NSIC package, recently in New Delhi

New Delhi: National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) has signed an MoU with the government of Sikkim recently in New Delhi. The MoU was signed for the promotion and development of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector in the state of Sikkim through NSIC package of services for the growth of MSME sector. The MoU was signed by NSIC's Director (Planning and Marketing) P Udaykumar, who has been awarded "Rashtriya ICON Award" recently, and Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Sikkim, Dr Thomas Chandy in the presence of senior officials of NSIC and the government of Sikkim.

NSIC is a Miniratna PSU under Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises of India. NSIC has been working to promote, aid and foster the growth of micro, small and medium enterprises in the country. It operates through countrywide network of offices and technical centres in the country. NSIC has also set up a training-cum-incubation centre managed by professional manpower.
