OIL signs MoU with Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT)

New Delhi: Oil India Limited (OIL) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT), Jais, Amethi. The MoU signing ceremony held at OIL's corporate office in Noida on Thursday.

The MoU aimed at promoting industry-academia partnership between OIL and RGIPT has been signed by OIL's Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) SC Mishra and RGIPT's Director Professor ASK Sinha.

The MoU has been signed in the presence of OIL's Director (HR & BD) Biswajit Roy, Director (E&D) P Chandrasekaran, Director (Operations) Pankaj Goswami along with senior officials from OIL and senior faculty members from RGIPT.

Oil India Limited (OIL) is the second-largest hydrocarbon exploration and production public sector company with its operational headquarters in Duliajan (Assam) and corporate office in Noida. OIL is engaged in the business of exploration, development and production of crude oil and natural gas, transportation of crude oil and production of liquid petroleum gas. The company's history spans the discovery of crude oil in the far east of India at Digboi, Assam in 1889 to its present status as a fully integrated upstream petroleum company.
