PA Suresh Babu appointed as Director (HR) of NPCIL

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of PA Suresh Babu to the post of Director (HR) of Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL)

New Delhi: PA Suresh Babu has been elevated to the post of Director (HR) of Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL), PSU under the Department of Atomic Energy (DPE). According to an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Suresh as Director (HR) of NPCIL for a period with effect from the date of his assumption of charge of the post on or after February 1, 2022, till the date of his superannuation i.e. till April 30, 2026, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Suresh Babu is graduated (B Tech Mechanical Engg) from Govt Engineering College, Trichur. He joined Business Application Research Center (BARC) in the 32nd batch of training. After training, he joined MAPS and worked there for 14 years in different capacities as a field engineer, control engineer, Asst Shift charge Engineer and Maintenance Engineer till the transfer to KKNPP in 2003.

He had worked in the capacity of Senior Commissioning Engineer for the Commissioning of Fuel Handling Systems and its Auxiliaries as well as Erection activities of critical load-lifting equipment. He had also undergone eight months of training in Russia on VVER (Pressurised Water Reactor) type Reactors. Has more than 25 years of experience in the Nuclear Industry.
