PESB picks Manoj Sharma for PFC’s Director (Commercial) post

The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel has recommended the name of Manoj Sharma for the post of Director (Commercial) of Power Finance Corporation (PFC)

New Delhi: Manoj Sharma is set to be the next Director (Commercial) of Power Finance Corporation Limited (PFC), a Maharatna PSU under the Ministry of Power. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Tuesday. Presently, he is serving as Executive Director in the same organisation.

Sharma has been recommended for the post of Director (Commercial) of PFC from the list of eight candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on March 22. Out of eight candidates, four candidates were from PFC, two candidates from Rural Electrification Corporation Limited (REC) and one each from Power Grid and NTPC Limited.

As Director (Commercial) of PFC, Sharma will be a member of the board of directors and will report to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He will assist CMD towards the achievement of the corporate vision and goals of the organisation.
