PFC bags ICAI Award for excellence in financial reporting

PFC bestowed with this ICAI Award for its highest degree of compliance with accounting standards, commendable accounting practices adopted while preparing financial statements

New Delhi: Power Finance Corporation (PFC) Limited, a Maharatna PSU and country's leading NBFC in the power sector, has won the prestigious ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) Silver award for excellence in financial reporting for the financial year 2020-21 in 'Public Sector Entities' category.

PFC has been bestowed with this coveted award for its highest degree of compliance with accounting standards, commendable accounting practices adopted while preparing financial statements, the policies adopted for disclosure and presentation of financial statements amongst other information contained in the annual report.

The award has been received by PFC's Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) RS Dhillon, Director (Finance) Parminder Chopra and Executive Director (Finance) RK Malhotra from Union Minister Dr Jitender Singh at an award distribution ceremony held on February 9.

PFC's General Manager (Finance) Mohd Salim and CM (Finance) Anurag Gupta were also present on the occasion.
