PM Inaugurates NBCC built All India Institute of Ayurveda, Goa

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated NBCC-built All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) in Goa on December 11 in presence of Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant. Implemented at a cost of Rs 268 crore AIIA will provide treatment in 36 specialty areas, including panchakarma, diet, lifestyle, yoga, Ayurveda, that is supported with ultra-modern diagnostic technologies, including an ICU.

The institute consists of an academic block, a hostel, a convenience centre, a sports facility, and a dietary centre. It also offers auxiliary services, such as Panchkarma cottages with open area landscaping, a playground, and a herbal garden for the holistic well-being of the patients.

NBCC has been playing a major role in developing the Healthcare infrastructure of the country by executing many landmark Healthcare projects across the nation such as AIIMS Medical College and Hospitals etc.
