PRSI (Delhi Chapter) gets a new team, PFC’s SS Rao is the new Chairman

PFC’s Chief General Manager (PR) SS Rao has been elected as the Chairman of Public Relations Society of India (Delhi Chapter) for the period of 2021-23

New Delhi: Power Finance Corporation's (PFC) Chief General Manager (Public Relations) SS Rao has been unanimously elected as the Chairman of Public Relations Society of India (Delhi Chapter) for the period of 2021-23. Till now he was holding the position of Secretary of the Delhi Chapter. PR Professional's Managing Director Sarvesh Tiwary, a veteran media personality, has been elected as Vice Chairman of the Society.

Airports Authority of India's (AAI) Former GM (PR) GS Bawa has been elected unopposed as Secretary of PRSI Delhi Chapter.  The New body has taken over with effect from April 24 itself.

The election results were announced by the Election Officer Dinesh Kumar, former Executive Director, AAI at the AGM held on Saturday in the virtual mode, Zoom Meeting. Kumar also announced the result of other members of the governing body members.

Vivek Chandra Shukla, who is the founder of PSU Watch, has been elected as Joint Secretary. Rama Vijay has been elected as Treasurer. She is the former DGM (PR) of REC Limited. She has served earlier too in the same position.

AGM was chaired by Chapter Chairman Naresh Kumar. During his address, Kumar presented a brief account of programs and initiatives undertaken by the Society. Rao made a presentation of the chapter's activities and praised for members' active participation in the events. The AGM proceedings were coordinated by Bawa, in his capacity as the Program Director.

The meeting was attended in big numbers and all present expressed their happiness and joy with one voice of congratulations and best wishes to the new team and placed on record the good work done by the outgoing team.  The Vote of Thanks was placed on record by Sarvesh Tiwari. Meeting ended with a vote of thanks to one and all.
