Q2 FY22: Balmer Lawrie & Co Ltd’s net profit marginally drops QoQ

The total income, profit before tax (PBT) and net profit after tax (PAT) for the six months period ended September 30, 2021, stood at 990.35 crores, Rs 60.80 and Rs 45.43 crores respectively

New Delhi/Kolkata: Balmer Lawrie & Co Ltd (BLC) has announced the second-quarter (Q2 FY22) results ending September 30. The results were approved by the Board of Directors in its meeting held at Kolkata on Wednesday, November 10.

The total income for the second quarter registered an increase of 1 percent and stood at Rs 497.41 crores as compared to the previous quarter. The Profit Before Tax (PBT) for the quarter ending 30 September 2021 stood at Rs 29.91 crores as against Rs. 30.89 crores for the previous quarter ending 30 June 2021. The Net Profit After Tax (PAT) during the quarter clocked at Rs 22.39 crores as compared to Rs 23.03 crores in the previous quarter.

The total income of Balmer Lawrie & Co Ltd, profit before tax (PBT) and net profit after tax (PAT) for the six months period ended September 30, 2021, stood respectively at 990.35 crores, Rs 60.80 and Rs 45.43 crores whereas the numbers for the corresponding period of the previous year were Rs 666.30 crores, Rs 28.87 and Rs 22.35 crores respectively.
