RailTel bags work order worth Rs 14.73 crore from EPFO

Railtel Corporation of India (RailTel) has received work order worth Rs 14.73 crore from Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO)

New Delhi: Railtel Corporation of India (RailTel), a Miniratna PSU under the Ministry of Railways, on Thursday said that it has received a work order from Rs 14.73 crore from the Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO). This work order is for the deployment and management of diagnostic and performance tools as managed services for a period of three years.

"This is to inform that RailTel Corporation of India Ltd has received work order from Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) for deployment and management of diagnostic and performance tools as managed service at a total cost for three years of Rs 14.73 crore (exclusive of tax)," RailTel said in a regulatory to the stock exchanges.

RailTel is a Miniratna PSU under the Ministry of Railways. It is an ICT provider and one of the largest neutral telecom infrastructure providers in the country owning a Pan-India optic fibre network on exclusive Right of Way (ROW) along Railway track. Railtel is also developing data centres for Indian Railways.
