New Delhi: With a view to simplify the procedure, provide easy access and speed up the process of fly ash dispatch from Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, RINL-VSP has developed a new system, by name Fly Ash Swift Transit System (FAST).

"FAST" was launched by RINL-VSP's General Manager (SAFETY & ENVT) MSV Krishnaiah on Tuesday at the New PP gate in presence of other senior officers and employees of RINL-VSP along with CISF personnel. The Application System has been conceptualized by the Environment Management Department and developed in-house by IT&ERP Dept.

The FAST system enables seamless entry or exit of fly ash tankers, considerably reduces the cycle time of loading & dispatch of fly ash, drastically reduces paperwork and also assists CISF personnel in generating permit slip, tracking vehicle status and generating all necessary reports.

RINL-VSP's GM (Environment Management) UK Halder and GM (IT&ERP) Suman Das also spoke on the occasion.
