RITES bags a Turnkey contract of Rs 205.85 crore from South Central Railway

New Delhi: RITES Limited, a Govt of India owned transport infrastructure consultancy and engineering company, has been awarded the contract for construction of road over bridges for Rs 205.85 crore from South Central Railway. This is second such as contract the company has secured in a week from the Indian Railways. During the regulatory filing to the stock exchange on Thursday, RITES Limited has said that it has been awarded the Turnkey contract for construction of Road Over Bridges (ROBs) in replacement of existing level crossings on competition basis from Railway Board amounting to Rs 205.85 crores. A memorandum of understanding (MoU) will be executed between RITES Limited and South Central (SCR) in this regard in due course.

This turnkey contract covers the construction of four nos. of ROBs in replacement of level crossings in Vijaywada division of SCR on Vijaywada-Vishakhapatnam section in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
