Saksham 2021: HPCL takes forward fuel conservation awareness program pan India

HPCL CMD along with functional directors administered fuel conservation pledge to all employees, across the country

New Delhi: PCRA, under the aegis of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, is organising a month-long petroleum conservation and fuel efficiency awareness drive, 'Saksham 2021,' from January 16th to February 15th under the theme "Green and Clean Energy."

HPCL's Chairman & Managing Director (C&MD) and Director (HR) along with functional directors administered fuel conservation pledge to all employees, across the country, thru video from Headquarters Office, Mumbai as part of Saksham 2021.

In order to spread the message of Fuel Conservation & Efficiency, HPCL has launched a nationwide campaign and will conduct LPG Panchayats, Group talks, Free PUC Camps, Painting Competition, Agricultural Workshops. To encourage green habits of Walking and Cycling for a cleaner and greener future, approximately 300 Cyclothons will be organised by Oil and Gas PSUs including HPCL, pan India, on of January 31. 

HPCL, in the recent past, has implemented various measures towards sustainable development viz., BS-VI fuel implementation across the country, VLSFO production, CGD network expansion for CNG and PNG availability, LPG availability to more than two crore low-income households through PMUY, investment in bio-fuels field, battery charging & swapping stations for enhanced electric mobility.
