Sanjay Jindal set to be next Director (Finance) of Engineers India Ltd

Sanjay Jindal, who is presently serving as Group General Manager of EIL, has been recommended for the post of Director (Finance) of the company

New Delhi: Sanjay Jindal is set to be the next Director (Finance) of Engineers India Limited (EIL), a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoPNG). He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Friday. He is currently serving as Group General Manager in the same organisation.

Jindal has been recommended for the post of Director (Finance) of EIL from a list of seven candidates, who were interviewed by the selection panel. Out of seven, four candidates including Jindal were from EIL and one each from Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL), NBCC (India) Limited and Haryana Power Generation Corporation Ltd.

As Director (Finance) of EIL, Jindal will be a member of the Board of Directors and will report to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He will be overall in charge of the finance and accounts of the EIL and will be responsible for evolving and formulating policies related to finance and accounts as well as implementation.
