SCOPE DG conferred with ‘Outstanding Leadership Award’ by IES

New Delhi: Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE) Director General (DG) Atul Sobti has been awarded the 'Outstanding Leadership Award' by Governor of Assam Jagdish Mukhi. Recognizing his incessant efforts towards capacity building of Public Sector Enterprises in India, the award conferred by the Institute of Economic Studies (IES), was presented in the presence of IES's President Sangeeta Singh and other dignitaries.

Sobti is a Graduate in mechanical engineering, and also holds a post-graduate degree in international business management. He also has a diploma in project management. Sobti was the Chairman and Managing Director of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) from January 2016 to June 2019.

SCOPE is a registered body under the societies act 1860 that represents the Central Government Public Enterprises. It has also some State Enterprises, Banks and other Institutions as its Members.
