New Delhi/Shimla: SJVN Limited's Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) Nand Lal Sharma has been conferred with 'Lifetime Achievement Award – Trophy' for the year 2020 by the Indian Concrete Institute, Shimla.

The trophy has been presented to the CMD during a function held at SJVN's Corporate Headquarters on Tuesday. Ultratech Cement's Regional Head (Chandigarh) Er Vyabhav Gupta and Indian Concrete Institute, Shimla Chairman VPS Jaswal presented the trophy while Ultratech Cement, Shimla in-charge Er Sulabh Sobti was also present on the occasion.

Earlier, on February 20, 2020, at a virtual function of the Concrete Day & Construction Excellence Awards 2020, SJVN CMD was conferred the 'Lifetime Achievement Award' for the year 2020.

Sharma as Chairman of SJVN is spearheading the construction of as many as eleven projects of the company. Currently, SJVN has more than 20 ongoing projects with a generation capacity of 10,000 MW of electricity in the pipeline.
