New Delhi: Sunil Kumar Kaimal, who is currently serving as General Manager at Karnataka Antibiotics & Pharmaceuticals Limited (KAPL), is going to take over as the Managing Director of the pharma public sector undertaking (PSU). Kaimal's name has been recommended by the Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB) from a list of six candidates. Barring him, there were two other people from within the pharma PSU.
The other candidates were from Hindustan Organic Chemicals Limited (HOCL) and Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL). Another candidate was a Commodore-level officer from the Indian Navy.
