T Muthukumar set to be Director (Production & Marketing) of MIDHANI

New Delhi: T Muthukumar is set to be the next Director (Production & Marketing) of Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited (MIDHANI), a Miniratna PSU under the Ministry of Defence. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Tuesday. He is currently working as Chief General Manager in Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL).

Muthukumar has been recommended for the post of Director (Production & Marketing) of MIDHANI from a list of six candidates, who were interviewed by the selection panel. Out of six candidates, two candidates were from MIDHANI, two from SAIL and one each from National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) and MECON Limited.

As Director (Production & Marketing) of MIDHANI, Muthukumar will be a member of the board of directors and report to the Chairman & Managing Director (CMD). He will be responsible for technology development, production as well as marketing and business development activities of the company to meet customer requirements to promote sales of high-technology and custom-made special materials in the country and for export.
