This is how NHPC rang in the new year

Balraj Joshi, CMD, NHPC extended his warm wishes for New Year 2019 and highlighted the milestones of NHPC’s journey during the year 2018

New Delhi: Government-owned hydropower company, NHPC Limited, rang in the new year with a grand cultural programme at NHPC Office Complex, Faridabad, a statement released by the public sector company said.

Speaking on the occasion Balraj Joshi, CMD, NHPC extended his warm wishes for New Year 2019 and highlighted the milestones of NHPC's journey during the year 2018, including the commissioning of 330 MW Kishenganga Power Station in Jammu & Kashmir, commissioning of 50 MW Solar Power Project in Tamil Nadu and commissioning of 2 units of Parbati-II HE Project at Part Load in Himachal Pradesh. Joshi also informed that 449 MW Duggar HE Project has been allotted to NHPC. The evening also saw a cultural performance featuring artists from Kathak Kendra, New Delhi.
