Vigilance Awareness Week is being observed at BEML

'Vigilance Awareness Week 2020' is being observed at BEML Limited from October 27 to November 2 with the theme 'Satark Bharat, Samriddh Bharat'

New Delhi: BEML Limited, a Miniratna PSU under Ministry of Defence, is observing 'Vigilance Awareness Week-2020' from October 27 to November 2 with the theme "सतर्कभारत, समृद्धभारत – Satark Bharat, Samriddh Bharat" (Vigilant India, Prosperous India).

BEML Limited's Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) Deepak Kumar Hota inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp and administered the vigilance pledge. Addressing the gathering, Dr Hota exhorted the employees to take advantage of IT Technology to remain vigilant in all areas of activities. He called upon those present to make integrity as part of their life. "Integrity can bring positive changes in family, workplace and society at large," he added.

Later, Dr Hota planted a sapling as 'Vigilance Tree' to commemorate VAW at BEML Soudha. On this occasion, BEML Limited's Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) Vidya Bhushan Kumar (IFS) also addressed the gathering. While BEML's functional Directors Suraj Prakash, MV Rajasekhar, Panneer Selvam R, Ajit  Kumar Srivastav and other senior executives and employees also took part in this programme.

To spread awareness on Vigilance, Banners are displayed at various strategic locations. Programmes such as Lectures, Training on various topics on vigilance, Essay writing, Slogan writing, Painting &Drawing competition and poster making and other activities are being organized for all employees, their spouses and children during this week-long programme.
