Vijay Kuradagi set to be next Director (Marketing) of Cotton Corporation of India

The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel has recommended the name of Vijay Kuradagi for the post of Director (Marketing) of Cotton Corporation of India

New Delhi: Vijay Kuradagi is set to be the next Director (Marketing) of Cotton Corporation of India, a PSU under the Ministry of Textile. Kuradagi has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Tuesday. He is currently serving as Chief General Manager in PEC Limited.

Kuradagi has been recommended for the post of Director (Marketing) of Cotton Corporation of India from a list of seven candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on Tuesday. There were a total of three candidates, who were on the list, were from Cotton Corporation of India, two candidates from PEC Limited and one each from Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) and National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO).

Kuradagi is an Engineering Graduate (B Tech in Industrial Production) from BVB College of Engineering & Technology, Hubli and holds a Post-graduate diploma in International Business from IGNOU. He has also done an MBA from Karnatak University.

As Director (Marketing) Cotton Corporation, Kuradagi will be a member of the Board of Directors and will report to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He will be overall responsible for the commercial and marketing functions including the formulation of strategies of the company.
