Balmer Lawrie reports 7.51% growth in Q3 net income, PBT up by 12.02%

The company reported a 7.51 percent year-on-year increase in total net income, which stood at Rs 634.43 crore, as per the accounts adopted for the quarter

New Delhi: Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd. has announced its financial results for the third quarter ended December 31, 2024. The company reported a 7.51 percent year-on-year increase in total net income, which stood at Rs 634.43 crore, as per the accounts adopted for the quarter. The results were approved by the Board of Directors in a meeting held in Kolkata on February 10, 2025.

The company’s Profit Before Tax (PBT) for the quarter witnessed a notable rise of 12.02 percent, reaching Rs 74.60 crore, compared to Rs 66.60 crore in the same period last year. Correspondingly, the net profit (PAT) for the quarter grew by 6.66 percent to Rs 54.80 crore, up from Rs 51.38 crore recorded in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.

For the nine-month period ended December 31, 2024, Balmer Lawrie reported a net income of Rs 1,926.71 crore, reflecting a 7.79 percent growth over Rs 1,787.46 crore in the same period last year. The company’s PBT for the nine-month period stood at Rs 201.01 crore, marginally higher than Rs 200.45 crore reported during the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
