Bank of India announces record date to determine eligibility of members for payment of dividend

To determine the eligibility of members entitled to receive the dividend on equity shares, the Bank of India has announced the Record Date as June 20

New Delhi: State-owned Bank of India said in a regulatory filing that it has announced the record date for payment of dividends on Thursday. The bank said that to determine the eligibility of members entitled to receive the dividend on equity shares, the bank has announced the Record Date as June 20.

Shareholders whose names appear in the bank's Register of Members/Register of Beneficial Owners maintained by the depositories, namely the National Securities Depository Limited and Central Depository Services (India) Limited, as of the close of business hours on June 20, 2023, will be eligible to receive the dividend.

Board of bank recommended Rs 2 per share

As per the filing, in a recent board meeting held on May 6, the Board of Directors of the bank recommended a dividend of Rs 2 per share (equivalent to 20 percent of the share value) on the equity shares of the bank for the financial year 2022-23.
