The meeting, chaired by Chairman and Managing Director Shantanu Roy, saw participation from all functional directors, senior officials, as well as representatives from manufacturing complexes and regional offices.

During the session, the ‘Seva Sankalp’ resolution was formally presented, reaffirming the company’s commitment to embedding its principles across all levels of operations. Detailed discussions were held on integrating the resolution’s ethos into both day-to-day functioning and BEML’s long-term strategic roadmap, with a focus on strengthening citizen-first governance and contributing to the national vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.

The resolution, adopted during the first Union Cabinet meeting at the newly inaugurated PMO complex ‘Seva Teerth’ on February 24, 2026, underscores a shift in governance philosophy rooted in the principle of ‘Nagrik Devo Bhava’ (Citizen is God). It aims to enhance the ease of living for India’s 1.4 billion citizens.

Sharing his perspective, Executive Director (HR) MGG Raju emphasised that the initiative represents more than a symbolic commitment and should serve as a foundational ethos for all government organisations. He urged employees to adopt a proactive and service-oriented approach, ensuring that BEML’s operational excellence and growth deliver tangible benefits at the grassroots level.
